The EP is All Recorded Now
Of course no one here expects a lot from this, but we have been having a lot of fun. The band is pretty much riding on the generosity of Dennis’ father, who happens to be a very wealthy dentist. He expects Dennis to follow in the footsteps of three generations of dentists, but he tells us how he played bass in a really awesome college band that no one ever heard of. It is obviously that he thought that was more fun than looking in other people’s mouths. Video production is what we have been thinking about now. We picked the best songs that we had and made a couple of videos, apparently it is a little more complicated than we thought that it would be. The real issue is the audio, which was of terrible quality. However the video was really dark the first time and on the second try we just did not frame it properly. Justin was jumping in and out of the frame all of the time. Duck stood on his mark like we said, but the top of his head and the neck of his bass were out of frame.
At any rate we played around with all of this for awhile and figured out that it might be a little bit of work and planning to do figure out how it is done. Doing it with the phones that we have does not seem like it is going to be that terrific an idea. My phone is really old and the camera just is not any good. However I am sure that the one that Dennis borrowed from his mother would be great if we really knew how to use it. She came down and shot us rehearsing, then asked if our mothers had dropped all of us on our heads.
