I Watch How Patients Go into the Chiropractor in Pain and Come out Smiling

Thursday, January 12th, 2017

One thing I have noticed when I go to my chiropractor is how a lot of the folks in the waiting room come in looking in distress and leave smiling and talking like they have seen an old friend. I rarely have to wait longer than a few minutes, but I actually like it when I have to wait a little longer at times. The reason is that I keep track of patients who see my Campbell chiropractor and their before and after behavior. You can tell who is in pain. Us folks with back trouble can spot the looks and body language in others.

I squirm in my chair trying to get comfortable when the pain is bad. Others will be seen forcing themselves into a straight or even twisted posture. You will see people stretching muscles or being hunched over. (more…)

Someone Finally Fighting for Me

Thursday, January 12th, 2017

I was involved in a pretty bad car accident about a year ago. I am actually very lucky to even be alive, a privilege that not everyone was fortunate to have from that same accident. Two people lost their lives, and three others had very minor injuries. That just left me. I had broken several bones in my body from the impact, and I will always have a limp when I walk. Rainy days are horrible for me because the pain is nonstop then too. I decided to finally hire an auto accident attorney in Sacramento when I realized that life was never going to return to the way I knew it before.

I was not trying to get rich off of this. I was just trying to protect myself moving forward. (more…)

I Fell Down a Flight of Steps

Thursday, January 12th, 2017

I fell down a flight of stairs about a year ago. I was not nearly at the top, but it was still about nine steps that I fell down. I was able to grab onto the railing, which prevented it from being a lot worse than what it actually was. That is not to say I did not hurt myself though, because the pain was awful. I twisted my back when I grabbed onto the railing, and I knew that I was going to have to see a Sacramento chiropractor to find some relief.

Of course, I went to the hospital first to make sure I did not break anything. You would think that would be obvious, but I just hurt everywhere so I did not know. Thankfully, there were no broken bones, but I was pretty battered. I decided to take the ER doctor’s advice and go to a chiropractor since my back was hurting a lot. I had no idea what could be done, but it just made sense to go to a doctor who specializes in the back area. I was able to get an appointment quickly, and my first appointment was better than I expected. (more…)

My Son Had a Football Injury

Wednesday, January 11th, 2017

My son loves to play football. Even though it does make me cringe at times because of the hard hits, I have never stopped him from doing what he loves. Even when he was hit so hard that we had to start seeing a chiropractor in Sacramento, I knew that he wanted to get fixed as quickly as possible so he could get back out there on the turf with his friends. I have had passion like that myself, so I understood exactly where he was coming from, even though I still cringe when I replay the hit in my mind that brought us to our chiropractor.

He was taken the emergency room as a precaution, and he was kept overnight just for observation. He complained of dizziness and pain in his back, and it was the dizziness that they were most concerned about. (more…)

A Little Sensor in the Furnace Was Causing All Our Heating Woes

Wednesday, January 11th, 2017

I have heard others talk about checking their furnaces well before they need to be used for the season, but that is something that I just never seemed to remember. Even though I never checked mine until I actually needed it, it had never been a problem for me in the past. I would turn it on, and it would fire right up. I remembered then to change the filter, and I was always good to go. A few months ago when I turned it on, I knew that I was going to have to find Sacramento HVAC services to help me out because nothing happened.

I had no idea what to do, because the extent of my furnace knowledge was turning it on and changing the filter once a month. Anything beyond that would require a professional. I had a good run of about ten years of nothing going wrong, so I could not get too upset. I was just glad that it was not super cold out so I could go one night without it. (more…)

I Slipped on Some Ice the Other Day

Saturday, January 7th, 2017

It was all my own fault, because I was in way too big of a hurry. In fact I was so well bundled up that I am surprised that I got hurt when I slipped on that slick spot. I was on my way to work and it was really cold, colder than usual because the wind was gusting so hard that it was nearly about to knock me off of my feet. Right now I am going to have to find a chiropractor in Philadelphia PA. That is probably the only thing that makes any sense. If you go to the doctor they are likely going to take a lot of x rays and they are going to give you a bunch of tests, but they are not going to do anything to solve the problem. (more…)
