Trading to Pay Medical Bills

Sunday, September 29th, 2019

An unfortunate fall this year left me with a dislocated shoulder. I had to have surgery to get it fixed, which set me back a bit financially. Although I had health insurance, it only covered so much and I was left paying the rest of the surgery costs out of pocket. Faced with the high hospital bill, I looked at alternative sources of income. I downloaded a bitcoin trader app and bought and sold enough bitcoin until I had enough funds to pay off the hospital bill. I only needed one hand to use the app, which meant that I could use it while recovering from the surgery.

Even though my medical bills were paid off, I continued to trade bitcoin on the app. (more…)

We Want More Parties Like This

Thursday, September 5th, 2019

The Christmas parties that we used to have here at the office were quite dull. The only reason people even showed up was that we knew we would be in hot water with the boss if we didn’t. When he hired a new general manager, none of us realized that even our parties were going to change. When we went to our last one, the Christmas entertainment that was provided shocked all of us. We were expecting to go into a plain hall with no decorations, basic food to be served, and a couple of speeches to be made.

Instead, when we walked into the doors of the hall, we were faced with a Christmas wonderland. To say that all of us were speechless is an understatement. The hall looked gorgeous, and the spread of food was amazing too. It was the Christmas entertainment that took us all by surprise though because we had never even had recorded music at any of our other parties. (more…)

My Brother Wants His Family Taken Care of

Thursday, August 29th, 2019

I had heard of mesothelioma before but I would never have been able to explain it to someone. Sadly, I can tell anyone in detail how horrible this type of cancer is. My brother, who has always been the rock of our family, is going through the biggest battle of his life right now. Unfortunately, it does not look like this is a battle he is going to win. After the initial shock, I told his wife that she needs to find the top mesothelioma lawyers so she can make the company my brother works for pay for this.

He was a steel mill worker, and he had a highly specialized job. That is really the only saving grace in this, because there were not too many others exposed to what he was exposed to for years. He had no idea his job was going to end up killing him, even though he had joked about that for years because of the long work hours. (more…)

The Perfect Birthday Gift for Me

Thursday, July 18th, 2019

When my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I was ready for him. It usually takes me weeks to come up with something when he asks for a gift idea because I really don’t need anything. However, I always treat myself to a cup of espresso at least twice a week, and I wanted to be able to enjoy it a lot more often than that. I just couldn’t justify the cost though. I thought it might be attainable though if I made it myself at home, so I found myself at the Cuppabean website comparing differnet espresso makers.

I figured it would have to be easy since it is just putting water in a machine along with a pod, and waiting for deliciousness to come out into my cup. I was not expecting to find so many different kinds of espresso makers though, so I was happy that it was organized into different sections. (more…)

I Needed Help with the Software Program

Monday, June 17th, 2019

When I agreed to take over the bookkeeping for our church, I thought that it would be very similar to how I do it for my own household. I could not have been more wrong though. While it is the same as far as income and expenses, it is different because of the different types of income, the multiple expense categories, and having to track all the members’ tithes and offerings. I had no training on how to do this, and I knew that I was going to have to look up Excel consulting to find an expert who could help me.

The person who had done all of this effortlessly before had to quit suddenly, so there was no notice or time for training. (more…)

People Think the Videos Are True Life

Friday, February 8th, 2019

I teach kids who come to the United States from other countries English. I teach at the middle school level so a lot of the kids are not always nice to one another. It really is a hard age today and I am so glad that I am not a kid with all of this technology. I was hoping that I was going to be able to teach my kids day of fate spirit vs spirit lyric video unmei no hi because a lot of them come here and they see the music videos and they think that everyone lives rich in huge houses and have really expensive cars. Most of my kids know that is not the truth when they land. (more…)

Use It on the Side of the Road

Sunday, February 3rd, 2019

I had a very nice childhood and I say that because now that I am older and talk to people my age, I realize that we had a lot more than other people did while we were growing up. I said to my brother that we had really good childhoods and I think that he also sees the differences, too. I knew that we had billboards owned by my dad and companies like boulevard 88 would actually go and pay money to have my dad and his workers go up high on the ladders and climb all the way up to the sign on the side of the highway. Shopping Online for Kawaii Clothes and Accessories

Tuesday, December 25th, 2018

I was browsing the internet the other day looking for some cute and unique clothes for my daughter. I came across a Kawaii shop that offered exactly what I was looking for. You see, my daughter loves cats and this store has so many pieces of clothing that have cats on them. We live in a very small rural town that does not have a lot to offer in shopping and I usually end up doing a lot of my shopping online. I usually don’t buy from online stores that are not in the United States but this seemed to be a reputable company to deal with.

I searched the different categories of Kawaii items and picked out several items that I knew my daughter would just love to have. (more…)

A Change in Vacation Plans

Thursday, December 13th, 2018

I never imagined that I would need chiropractic care in my 20s, but I guess my body is older than I thought. I went skiing for the first time a couple of months ago. A friend of mine invited me to come with him. Even though I hadn’t done it before, my friend assured me that I would be able to ski. I was enjoying the mountain scenery and slowly went down a hill. Everything was going fine until I lost my balance and started speeding up. I hit a bump and then fell on my back.

My friend saw the whole thing happen and had to take me back to the hotel where we were staying. I was in too much pain to continue staying there, so my friend took me to a local chiropractor. (more…)

I Like Music from Different Eras

Monday, November 19th, 2018

Music soothes me. I have a lot of trouble in my life, and I tend to isolate myself from people. Music is the one calming thing I have in my life. I do not like to read much, and TV bores me. Music though, it speaks to me. It takes me to places that nothing else does. That is why I am always on the lookout for new music. I can listen to music throughout the day and never get bored. Now and again, I’ll do a search on my computer for a new mp3 song download website, and I found a great one not that long ago. (more…)

Remember the Good Old Days?

Monday, November 19th, 2018

My daughter is eighteen years old and she does not know what she would do without the internet. She has to submit all of her papers for school online and it is really interesting to see what tasks she has to do online. I tried to tell her back in the day we would have to go online for an mp3 song download and it was not always easy to do so when we had to use our phone line for the downloading. Someone would be able to call you and knock you off of the phone line and they would actually go and have you dial up online to start all over again. It could take a really long time to get back online because if you could not find a good number, it could have been busy due to all of the people trying to get online after school and after work. I remember that we only had America Online for our web searches.

It’s really weird to me that they do not allow you to use AIM anymore. It was weird that something I used so much as a kid on the internet was gone and taken away. I do not know if I will ever forget the saying that you got when you did have an email waiting for you in your inbox. I met my first husband on Love at AOL in the year 1999 and I really think it’s funny that they do not have that anymore. Most people who are dating online today were not old enough to remember the first online dating site. I think it’s very cool that they ended up having that back in the day, we were able to talk to people from all over the world for the first time.

We Have Fun with the App We Made

Monday, November 19th, 2018

I was talking with some friends several months back, and we thought it would be fun to find an app that we could all do together. We wanted a scavenger hunt app that we could customize, but we were not able to find one that we liked. The only good one was not able to be customized, and that is why we ended up going to an app developer in Singapore to see if this company could design the app that we all wanted to use.

We had plenty of great ideas for it, but the main thing is that it could be customized to a specific town or region as well as being able to customize the things that needed to be found. We took it one step further and came up with a bunch of different themes. (more…)

A Fantastic Journey in Singapore

Friday, November 16th, 2018

I went with my family on a great trip to Singapore. It wasn’t really for any kind of special occasion or anything, we really just wanted to visit a country, so we picked one off the globe and came up with Singapore. We hired one of the transport services in Singapore to take us around to various locations, because we had no idea what there was to see in the country. If we had chosen one of the other countries, we probably would have had a better idea before of what to see, but it wouldn’t have been as fun.

Since I am a person who likes to try out a lot of food from different places when I go to them, I was ready to try everything when I went to Singapore. I didn’t care if the food was spicy or mild, sour or sweet, I was ready to give it a try. I knew of some famous chefs who have come from Singapore to spread their cooking around the world, so I knew that there would be a lot of good food to eat. My son was ready to meet all of the local girls his age, while my daughter wanted to see all of the famous art.

We absorbed a lot of culture while we were traveling there. The driver of the bus that we rented helped us find the best places. Since he lived there, he knew the entire country like the back of his hand, and knew the best way to get to these places while taking the shortest possible routes to get there. I hope we can all go back there some time in the near future, but we have to clear out our schedule. I have a lot of work, and the kids have to go back to school.

Why Traditional Chinese Medicine Works

Friday, November 16th, 2018

Do you know what TCM is? I had a vague idea of it when I first made an appointment for a TCM clinic in Singapore. I had done a cursory search online just to make sure that I would be okay with going there in the first place. While I was waiting to be seen, I was able to talk to an older man in the waiting room, and he could not say enough good things about Traditional Chinese Medicine when he found out it was my first time there.

I had been looking at it strictly from a medical point of view, but that brief chat made me realize that it is so much more than that. It is about the life force that surrounds every single one of us. (more…)

A Much Needed Television Upgrade

Sunday, September 30th, 2018

I invited some friends over to my home for a game night one day, and it ended in disaster. We were playing one of those old motion controlled games and one of my friends threw the controller at the television. The screen broke and the television was essentially useless. I thought about having the television repaired, but I decided that it would be more cost effective to buy a new one from Netphones. Besides, the television was old, so this was the perfect opportunity to upgrade to a new one with all of the modern bells and whistles.

My friend agreed to pay for the cost of the new television since he was the one who broke my old one. (more…)

Programming and Equipment That Fit Your Needs

Thursday, August 2nd, 2018

The website https://www.cablehdtvs.com was exactly what I needed when I decided to surprise my 16 year old daughter with a new HD Television for her bedroom. My daughter is a hard worker, in fact she is going to be graduating early from high school, and for her 16th birthday I wanted to buy her something special. She had a smaller TV that she would watch with her friends, but I wanted to go big this time. I needed to find a great company to provide special programs I knew she would love and something she could easily take with her to own apartment. So I started looking on websites for portable systems and ran into a whole lot of nothing, until I found your online store. You seem to completely understand what I was looking for. (more…)

I Learned to Never Sell Myself Short at Work

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018

I am no longer in school. I am in a decent job that has room for advancement. I was thinking about getting another degree, but I am not sure if I have the time with the job, two kids and the charity work I do. However, I did need to brush up on some physics for some new things we are doing at work. So, I quietly enrolled in physics tuition to help me with some areas I was having trouble with. The reason I chose the instructor that I did was because he did such an excellent job with our two children. Our kids improved their physics understanding by two full letter grades. I figured that if he could help them, then he could definitely help me brush up on some things I really needed to learn quickly for my job.

The last thing you want in a competitive work environment is to look like a dummy in front of your peers or your superiors. I was really worried for a time. (more…)

I Need Help While I Figured out Which Place I Wanted to Work at Next

Monday, April 2nd, 2018

When I graduated, I lived at home with my parents while I searched for the perfect job. Once I landed a job, I was really excited to get my own place. I quickly found out that employees are expected to spend a lot of time at work, so I hired someone from https://www.kleepers.com to help me with housecleaning. I knew that you should never spend only 8 hours in the office when you have just been hired, but I had not idea that employees at my new company spend as much as 14 hours per day working in the office.

I’m all for doing really well at whatever a person does. I work hard, and I don’t have a lot of trouble with being tempted too much by idle things when I know there is work to be done. It is very common in my country for people to work beyond their scheduled hours. I was ready for that. However, I was not reading for never being home. (more…)

My Boys Needed Physics Tutoring

Tuesday, March 6th, 2018

I did some research on physics tuition because I knew that my twin sons needed a boost in that area to make it more interesting for them. They were doing okay in their physics class in high school, but we are not a family that maintains mediocrity. Rather, we excel at anything and everything we do, because none of us really see the point of putting in only partial effort. The boys told me that they would not even have taken that class if they had known how boring it would have been for them.

That about floored me, because physics has always fascinated me. I could not believe that my offspring did not feel the same way. When I asked them what physics means to them, all they could really tell me was it is boring learning about string theory. I asked them what else physics means to them, and they really could not tell me much more. (more…)
