A Much Needed Television Upgrade
I invited some friends over to my home for a game night one day, and it ended in disaster. We were playing one of those old motion controlled games and one of my friends threw the controller at the television. The screen broke and the television was essentially useless. I thought about having the television repaired, but I decided that it would be more cost effective to buy a new one from Netphones. Besides, the television was old, so this was the perfect opportunity to upgrade to a new one with all of the modern bells and whistles.
My friend agreed to pay for the cost of the new television since he was the one who broke my old one. I wanted a television that had the ability to connect to the Internet, had a 4K resolution, could use various apps to connect to different media services, and could connect to my phone and stream media from it. My old television had none of these features and I had to connect devices to it to get this functionality, and even then, the picture quality was only as high as 720p. I got the old television on sale during the holidays and I enjoyed it for what it was and how affordable it was.
Once I had an idea of what television I wanted, I placed an order for it and it was delivered to my home with special packaging to prevent it from being damaged. I spent half an hour setting it up by putting on its legs, scanning for all of the channels in my area, and setting up the Internet connection. The first thing I watched was a movie from one of the online services that were available in the built in apps. The picture quality was so clear.
